All registrations for the 2011 USTA League Southern Section Championships will be completed online and entry fees will be collected at time of registration utilizing PayPal. The process simple and secure and does not require a PayPal account. With this new online registration, players select a t-shirt or tank top option.
To register, have your team number, credit card and t-shirt/tank sizes for each player ready. Captains must notify their State League Coordinators within 7 days of their state tournament if the team will not attend the 2011 USTA League Southern Section Championships. Players must be current USTA Members and have played at least 2 matches during 2011 season. A minimum of 8 players for Adult teams and 6 players for senior teams are required for a complete team entry. ( 2.5 and 5.0 levels need minimum of 5 players). There is a non-refundable registration fee of $30.00 per player. Players registering after Wednesday, July 13 will incur an additional $25.00 service charge.
Team Captains must register first as this registers the team number. As a captain you may pay for yourself only or as many of your players as you wish. However, you must pay for all players that you register.

Congratulations to your team for earning the opportunity to compete at the “world’s largest tennis tournament,” the 2011 USTA League Tennis Southern Section Championships!
Your team is to be congratulated for an outstanding season this year as earning the right to compete at this event is considered quite the achievement! Over 18,000 players competed at our nine state championships with 2,000 players advancing to the 2011 USTA League Tennis Southern Section Championships. Just over 200 players will advance to the National Championships in Palm Springs or Tucson representing over 100,000 participants in the USTA Southern Section.
The next step on the road to becoming a National Champion is the USTA League Tennis Southern Section Championships, which will take place in Mobile, Ala. July 30-August 7, 2011. The men and women 2.5, 3.0, 3.5 and senior 4.0, 4.5 will compete July 30-Aug. 2. The men and women 4.0, 4.5, 5.0, 5.5, and senior 2.5,3.0, 3.5 will compete Aug.4-Aug. 7.

The largest recreational tennis program in the world began right here in the South in Atlanta, Ga. in 1978 with 100 participants. Growing from 100 to 100,000 players in the South over twenty-five years is an amazing success story. We also believe that we have barely realized our potential to utilize league tennis as a vehicle to promote and develop the growth of tennis.
