A TEAM GETS A VISIT FROM TWO NUNS DURING MATCH

Kristi Hill Dunlap, a member of the Women’s 3.0 team from Knoxville, TN, got a visit from two Dominican sisters who were her former teachers at St. Cecilia Academy in Nashville, TN.

The two nuns, who have remained close friends of Dunlap, came out to support her and her team at their match Sunday afternoon at Birmingham Southern against South Carolina. The sisters prayed for overcast skies and a victory, which is exactly what the team got. Dunlap’s team swept all five matches.

According to one team member, the balls seemed to fall into place giving them the advantage and making everyone work perfectly for the day.
