All players will register online for the 2009 USTA League Southern Section Championships. Online Registration is located on this website, www.southernleaguetennis.com. As a captain you may pay for yourself only or as many of your players as you wish. However, you must pay for all players that you register.
State champion teams must be registered online with a minimum of 8 adult players and 6 senior players within 2 weeks of the completion of their state tournaments (except for 2.5 and 5.0 teams which need a minimum of 5 players). Any state champion teams unable to attend the southern sectionals tournament must notify their state office immediately.

The USTA Southern Section tournament headquarters, team registration, captains meeting and player party will all be hosted in one convenient location, the Wynfrey hotel! We encourage our teams to book reservations early as we have a limited number of rooms. The Wynfrey Hotel, 1000 Riverchase Galleria, Birmingham, AL 35244.Players must book hotel reservations here in order to receive discounts and USTA Southern player room rates.
Captains' Meeting and team registration
Team registration for adult men & women NTRP levels 2.5,3.0,3.5 and senior men and women 4.0 and 4.5 will begin on Friday, July 24th at 4:30 and the Captains meeting will begin at 6:00pm.
Team registration for Adult men & women NTRP levels 4.0, 4.5, 5.0, Open and senior 2.5, 3.0, 3.5 will begin on Wednesday, July 29th beginning at 4:30pm with a Captains meeting at 6:00 p.m. Attendance is mandatory for captains or a player on the team that can pick up important tournament information.
Eligibility all players must be current USTA members and
have played at least 2 matches during 2009 season. Registration fee is $30.00
per player which includes a t-shirt and player party.
